Somalia: A Culture Of Corruption, Thieving & Tribalism Has Ruined
Friday August 12, 2011In Somalia, the rule of law and humanity does not work at all as the big brother as they call themselves ( president, premier etc) takes all the benefits of national assets at the expense of his people. All power is concentrated in the hands of the big brother and his cronies from his tribe or those affiliated tribes. Somali leaders have no any sense of responsibility. dignity, patriotism, social justice and the stability of Somalia. Somali leaders since independence in 1960 are famed for their comprehensive robbery of public national assets generated inside Somalia or donated by the international community to advance and develop Somalia at all levels of social development such as education, health, infrastructure, employment, good governance etc. The Somali leaders have been mean, self-seeking, utterly greedy, shameless, unpatriotic, foreign stooges, irresponsible and unfit to govern Somalia.
In a recent report made public by the USA Senate foreign relations committee illustrated that the TFG led by Sh. shariif Sh. Ahmed and Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo embezzled over 75,000,000(seventy five million dollars donated to Somalia by the US government from 2009). The Somali people know also the saga of warlord Abdullahi Yey and Ali Mohamed Ghedi who stole millions of dollars from the Somali public fund. In the black history of corruption and thieving in Somalia, certain individuals are well known to the Somali public for their national assets robbery and thieving and they include:-* Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed* Ali Mohamed Ghedi* Abdikasim Salad Hassan* Ali Mahdi Mohamed* Sheikh Shariif Sh. Ahmed* Shariif Hassan Adan* Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo* Ali Khaliif Galeyr* Hassan Abshir Farah* Abdirahman Ibi* and many more.No wonder then that Somalia has been engulfed by genocidal famine, drought and human misery on a massive scale. The Somali leaders are directly responsibe for the famine and massive human deaths taking place inside Somalia and on the borders with neighbouring countries.To conclude. Somalia and its people has been failed and crippled by so-called leaders whose agendas were/are to get rich quickly and sell Somalia and its people down the drain whatever the price is ! Most astonishingly, the so-called educated people are the worst who are exploiting and robbing the Somali public funds. In the last 50 years, it became clearer that the Somali leaders are ignorant, hungry, irresponsible, tribalist etc who would sell Somalia down the drain for few dollars ! What a shame and disgrace to manage the affairs of a nation. May Allah hold them to account all those persons who stole and committed national robbery against the dying children and women of Somalia, and for causing such political and social catastrophes in Somalia.By Hassan Shirwa
